From one yard to Tucson's local turf distributor
Turf Designs is a family-run business, built out of a Tucson driveway, that grew into a local turf distributor supplying landscapers, contractors, HOAs, and homeowners across Southern Arizona.
The Timeline

2020
It started with yard cleanup during an unplanned break from school, tree trimming, weed eating, and general yard work around the neighborhood. By that August, it had grown into full backyard makeovers.

2022
The turf distributor we relied on for material went out of business. Rather than find a new one, we decided to become one ourselves, and spent the next months learning the business from the ground up.

Feb 2023
Turf Designs officially began distributing turf, cut and delivered from a forklift parked in the driveway of the family home.

Today
We've moved into a proper warehouse, and grown into a distribution business supplying turf to landscapers, contractors, HOAs, and homeowners across Tucson and Southern Arizona, backed by our partnership with Big Bully Turf.
A Family Operation
Turf Designs is run today by Brandon and his father, Duane. Duane spent seven years in the Navy, serving aboard the USS Midway and later the USS Abraham Lincoln. Brandon is an Eagle Scout.
Turf Designs is a veteran-owned business.
Both backgrounds run on the same basic rules: be honest, stay organized, and do what you said you would do. That shows up in how we price and describe our products, we don't mark up prices just because we can, and we'd rather correct bad information floating around the turf industry than let a customer make a decision based on it.
How We Operate
We keep product in stock locally, so your turf is ready when you need it, not weeks out on a special order. Every collection is backed by a real manufacturer warranty, and we register it for you.
We don't install, and we won't pretend to. What we do is get you the right turf, in stock, at an honest price, and connect you with trusted local installers when you need one. One source for material, straight answers along the way.
